Daniel Grima, M.Sc. - Partner
Daniel is an expert in the development of global reimbursement strategies and in health economic modeling and analysis. His academic training includes a B.Sc. in Toxicology and an M.Sc. with a specialization in Clinical Biochemistry, both from the University of Toronto.
Cheryl Attard, M.Sc. - Partner
Cheryl specializes in the conduct of health economic and budget impact analyses for products in clinical development and at launch. Her academic training includes a B.A. in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University and an M.Sc. in Health Administration (Health Economics) from the University of Toronto.
Melissa Thompson, B.Sc., MBA - Partner
Melissa is experienced in developing strategies to expand reimbursement for products post-launch and the conduct of health economic and budget impact analyses. Recently, her focus has included the application of health economic and outcomes research to product communication, medical marketing, and sales. Melissa's academic training includes a B.Sc. in Biology and Pharmacology and an MBA with specialization in marketing and finance, both from McMaster University.
Lisa Bernard, M.Sc. - Partner
Lisa has over 20 years of experience in designing and conducting clinical research and health economic evaluations for new pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device product. She also has considerable practical experience in decision modeling. Lisa's academic training includes a B.Sc. in Sociology and an M.Sc. in Health Research Methodology with a specialization in Health Economics, both from McMaster University.
Chris Cameron, Ph.D. - Senior Director
Chris is the Director of the Evidence Synthesis Group within Cornerstone. His experience includes over ten years working or consulting for major health technology assessment organizations including Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH), CADTH Common Drug Review, pan-Canadian Oncology Drug Review (pCODR), Health Quality Ontario, and Institute for Clinical and Economic Review (ICER) in the United States. He has authored over 75 peer-reviewed scientific publications and text book chapters since 2009, is a co-developer of NetMetaXL and a co-author on the PRISMA extension for network meta-analysis. Chris holds a BSc in Mathematics, Engineering and Biology (Dalhousie University), and an MSc (Dalhousie University) and a PhD in Epidemiology (University of Ottawa).
Nicole Ferko, M.Sc. - Senior Director
Nicole Ferko is experienced in directing U.S. and global health economic projects to support pharmaceutical and medical device reimbursement and hospital adoption. Nicole has 15+ years experience in health economics in both an academic and consulting role. Key responsibilities at Cornerstone Research Group have included the development and direction of health economic strategies, value propositions, dossiers and evidence compendiums, economic models, scientific publications, systematic reviews, and hospital surveys or interviews. Over the last 10 years, projects have focused on health economics research and value communications for medical devices, where Nicole has authored over 30 scientific congress presentations and publications in this area. To reflect expertise and experience on this topic, Nicole recently co-authored a book entitled: "The Science of Commerce: Succeeding in a Changed Medical Device Market". Nicole's academic training includes an M.Sc. in Health Research Methods at McMaster University.
Dana Anger, M.Sc. - Director
Dana Anger has extensive research and medical writing experience in a variety of therapeutic areas, including hepatocellular and renal cell carcinoma, prostate cancer, multiple myeloma, schizophrenia, inflammatory bowel disease, coronary artery disease, and a number of orphan diseases. Areas of specialization at Cornerstone include the development of global value and AMCP dossiers, objection handlers, clinical summaries, product monographs, peer-reviewed manuscripts, value messages, and surveys. Dana is a graduate of the Biology and Pharmacology Co-op Program at McMaster University, where she also earned an M.Sc. with specialization in Reproductive Biology and Toxicology. She is an active member of the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA).
Heather Cameron, Ph.D. - Director
Heather is experienced in the development and management of health economic evaluations for pharmaceutical and medical device products. Heather’s academic training includes a B.Sc. in Biochemistry and a Ph.D. in Medical Science, both from McMaster University.
